Hi there! I'm Alfredo!
Creative Technologist & Multidisciplinary Designer
I design interactive experiences and build the systems that bring them to life. My background spans architecture, digital design, and creative coding. I approach each project as a form of exploration, using technology to navigate complex problems and turn experimental concepts into functional realities, whether they live on a screen or in a physical space.
My curiosity often extends into independent development and open-source contributions. I've built projects that push the boundaries of digital interaction. These include Splatz, a lightweight way to embed 3D Gaussian splatting into React apps, Home Pulse, an immersive smart home monitoring platform, and Doodle Tales, an AI-powered game where your drawings drive the narrative.
I'm currently a Creative Technologist at Heatherwick Studio. I focus on how computational thinking and custom tools can scale creative ideas. I'm interested in the space where digital systems meet human interaction, building responsive environments that feel as good as they look.
Previously, I developed computational systems at Zaha Hadid Architects and led research at Autodesk BUILD Space. On the more experimental side, I bridge the gap between craft and tech through collaborations with artists like Toni Cumella and engineer immersive, large-scale installations for Burning Man with the Understory Collective.
